My thoughts
This is a great book. It is a fast read. I can't wait to read the second book in this series. I didn't notice any grammar or punctuation mistakes. The only thing that I think should be changed is the cover of the book. I don't see how the cover compliments the book except for the feathers in the girl's hair. But other than that, this is a great novel. This novel draws you in with its easy to read format and the vivid descriptions in the many different scenes that you find in this novel.
This novel does have a little romance. At the end of the book is where Ariel tells one of the guys that she loves him but I was hoping that she would end up with the other one. I can't wait to read the next book to find out what happens. I like this book because the author keeps you on your toes. There are twists and turns that make it more captivating.
My recommendations
I would recommend this book to teens to young adult. If you love to read novels on fantasy, folklore, social sciences, education, and novels in high school, then this is the book for you. This novel is also considered to be religious in that it has to do with angels.
