My thoughts

I have oily skin which means my skin will be prone to mild or severe acne, blackheads and whiteheads. I learned about the natural ingredients that will help control my face. The natural ingredients are:
-Tea Tree Oil
-Lemon Juice
-Lime Juice
-Milk
-Tomatoes
-Egg Whites
-Honey
-Yogurt
-Witch Hazel
-Apple cider Vinegar
-Cornstarch
-Cucumber
I didn't know that apple cider vinegar was good for my skin. I love ACV so I had to try the face mask for oily skin. This is one recipe that I will be using in the future.
All Natural Face Mask for Oily Skin Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp lemon juice
Directions:
Mix all three ingredients in a bowl. Apply to face for 30 minutes. Rinse and pat dry.

I tried this and after rinsing the mask off, my face was softer. I love it. this is a great face mask. My skin is still soft and feels great.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is interested in learning how to take care of their skin the natural way. And anyone who is interested in beauty, grooming and skin care products.
I did find some grammar mistakes but it didn't take away anything from the book. There was nothing about this book that I didn't like. I love that it was easy to understand and follow. It is set up with a recipe with its ingredients and directions. It is also easy to read.
I also love that it gives you recipes for the hair and body, for the face, and your hand and feet. I am going to keep this book because I will be going back through it to make some of these recipes myself.
Another thing that I love about this book is that it contains more than one recipe for a product. For example, there are different recipes for a face mask. You can choose which one you like or which one you have the ingredients for. One recipe for a mask calls for brown sugar, granulated sugar, almond oil and pumpkin pie spice whereas another one calls for ground sage, coconut oil, coconut milk and sea salt. I love that there are different options for different people.
This book is easy to navigate. Anyone can read this book and understand what is being said.

Raquel Says by Mois Benarroch

Raquel Says (Something Entirely Unexpected) by [Benarroch, Mois]

About the Book

Do you love to read novels about a parallel universe? If so, then you will want to read Mois Benarroch's 164-page novel Raquel Says (Something Entirely Unexpected). This book was published in August of 2017 by Babelcube Inc. This book was translated by Sally Seward.

The Author

Mois Benarroch was in Morocco in the year 1959. He can write in three languages. He is a best selling writer and poet in Israel and a novelist in Spain. He was awarded the prestigious Amichay Poet Prize in 2012. He has published 30 books.
In the beginning of the book, the narrator wants to die and the world doesn't interest him anymore. This man is depressed and you can see this as he compares himself to his fellow writers, Kafka and Kerouac, who died at 40 the same age as himself. He writes in Hebrew but is told to write in Spanish. When you read further in this parallel world, you see that his wife has left him. We learn that he created this woman, Raquel in a parallel world. She is a writer in Madrid. They communicate through email where we learn that they are soul mates. As the book goes on, the narrator doesn't want to die anymore.
The narrator is looking for love. Someone who knows how to love him and not just say the words. How would you react if writing just appeared on your computer screen? That is what happened to the narrator. Suddenly words appeared on his screen that said,
"Well, we can't give you what you want. But we can give you the possibility to create."
"Today, and only today, you may create a person."
"A person that you may choose yourself."
"The only condition is that the person must have been born in the same year you were born and in the same city."
Then the words disappear.
"I understand that I will now have to create a person. Not a fictitious one, a person. What she thinks only now become a reality" (Raquel Says (Something Entirely Unexpected by Mois Benarroch, page 8). It's like he pulled Raquel's name out of thin air and now she is a person from a parallel world. We do learn that he created Raquel to save his books.

My Thoughts

This book was written in 1st person which I don't care for. I usually don't read books that are written in this kind of style but I had already made a promise to read this book. I found that I could understand the book better towards the end. As I read the book, it was easier to read and follow.
The one thing that I didn't like was the cover of the book. I don't think that the picture on the cover goes with the book. This book was well written with few grammar mistakes. This is a slow and steady type of book.
I would recommend this book to readers who love novels that have to do with parallel universes. Readers need to have an open mind when reading this.

The author put his Table of Contents in the back of his book which I didn't care for since this is the first time I have seen it. There were a few errors but not many errors but nothing major that would take anything from this book.
I would definitely recommend this book to all poetry lovers.

I followed the instructions except that the recipe said 4 pieces of bacon, I had to use more since my bacon was too small. But other than that the recipe was easy to follow.
